I found this skin tip on Twitter from @JenJamesBeauty - Keep some baking soda in your bathroom, mix it with your hand soap whenever you wash your hands to keep them soft. #softskinissexy
We’re all trying to save money, but what do you do with the money once you’ve save it? Spend it? Put it under your mattress? I say use that money to make more money!!!!
I am not a financial expert, nor am I a beauty expert - but I have read and tried a lot. This blog is my advice on what has and hasn’t worked for me.
With that being said, let’s talk money.
What works for me is to have separate accounts and to live WELL below my means. I have a travel account, so I can book those last minute getaways - I throw as much “extra” cash I can in there. I have a f* it account, I put 30% of what I make in there - I use it for shopping, drinks with the girls, products, etc. Then, I have my savings account which holds 70% of what I make - I take that money and use it to make more money(another blog about that coming soon).
How do you account for your money?
Soap & Glory is one of my favorite indulgence’s, their line feels so lavish at less than $15 per item. Soap & Glory was created by Marcia (last name unknown, at least to me), the same creator of the Bliss line.
Why pay $49 for a 14oz Body Butter by Bliss, when you can pay $14.99 for a 10oz The Righteous Butter by Soap & Glory? You could buy 3 at $45 for 30oz or 1 at $49 for 14oz.
Lets try that math again with a body scrub instead: $36 for a 12oz Lemon & Sage Body Scrub or $9.99 for 8.4 oz Flake Away Body Scrub; so that’s 3 at $30 for 25.2 oz or 1 at $36 for 12oz.
My favorites from this line are: Flake Away Body Scrub, Clean On Me Body Wash, and Righteous Body Butter. Bonus: They all have a great peachy smell that sticks with you, and great little puns on the bottle, like “Its okay if sometimes her friends are flaky, but a lady’s legs should never be.”
The Soap & Glory line is available at Target.
I love Bliss Spas, but at home I’m all about the Soap & Glory.
This blog will be all about reviews and recommendations on beauty products sold in drugstores only. You will be able to find all of the products I try out in your local CVS, Walgreens, Target, Kroger, etc. Please feel free to suggest products for me to try and make reviews of you own!
